PRM was founded in 2011 out of a desire to develop an engineering firm where the employees are excited and motivated about what we do, are encouraged and driven to grow as engineers and leaders, and ultimately are valued and respected for their contributions, creative thinking and innovation.

Our hardworking team here at PRM are dedicated to providing you with exceptional service and a hands-on design experience when it comes to your drawings and ideas.


  • Founder

    Phil is passionate about the process of structural engineering, investing in PRM team members and improving the procedures and tools. Phil enjoys traveling, camping, cycling, and overall spending time with his family.

  • Staff Engineer

    Austin has worked at PRM Structural since 2015. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. As a Structural Engineer, Austin specializes in designing and analyzing structural systems for various construction projects and always seeking new challenges and innovative solutions. Outside of work, Austin enjoys spelunking, kayaking, and spending time with family.


  • Staff Engineer

    Luke has over 3 years of experience in design and analysis of structural systems for commercial, industrial and residential projects. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in civil engineering at Auburn University. On his free time, he enjoys playing disc golf and riding motorcycles.


  • Staff Engineer

    Caspian joined PRM after graduating from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2023. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in civil engineering at Auburn University. Caspian enjoys skateboarding and playing soccer in his free time.


  • Office Manager

    Sharon is an asset to the PRM team. She handles administrative work such as accounting, human resources, and payroll. Sharon has actually lived and worked in Africa for 16 years. She continues to love traveling!


  • BIM Manager / Senior Designer

    McKenzie has over 23 years of experience in Commercial and Governmental Design. As PRM’s BIM manager, McKenzie partakes and oversees the creation of BIM models. During his free time, he enjoys doing anything outside.

  • Staff Engineer

    Ian joined PRM in the Fall of 2022 as an intern, and joined the team full time after graduating in the Spring of 2024 from The University of Alabama in Huntsville which a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. On his spare time, Ian enjoys listening to audiobooks, reading and racing concrete canoes.


  • Marketing Intern

    Grace joined PRM in the Spring of 2024, while pursuing her bachelor’s degree in marketing at The University of Alabama in Huntsville. In her free time, she enjoys going to the movie theater and trying out local coffee shops.
